John Hastie - Co-Founder & Board of Directors/VR Homeowner
John is a scratch golfer and plans to retire to PGA-West in a few years.
He splits his time between San Diego and La Quinta and when not working you can find him on the golf course.
Anjali Nagarkar - Co-Founder & Board of Directors/VR Homeowner
Anjali has always been involved with travel, design and home industries. She has lived in La Quinta since 2005 and has 15 years of experience as an Interior designer. Prior to being a designer she was a flight attendant. While travelling all over the world she enjoyed the warmth and hospitality of vacation rentals and decided to offer the same to La Quinta guests. She now manages and hosts her own vacation rental for the last 5 years. On weekends you will find Anjali and her husband either at an Old Town eatery, yoga studio or on a hiking trail around La Quinta.
Jelena Tamm: Co-Founder & Board of Directors/VR Agency & VR homeowner
Jelena is a president of California Vacation Villas, short term vacation rental management and leasing company. The company currently manages 66 units in La Quinta, two in Palm Desert, and two in Newport Beach. She has a BA in Business and Finance from California State University- Fullerton (2003), and 11 years of residential real estate and finance experience. Jelena was born and raised in Serbia. She, her husband Quinn, their two daughters, Zora and Jacqueline, and their 14-year old pug, Bubbles, split their time between Newport Beach and La Quinta.
Anna Duitruk: Co-Founder & Board of Directors/VR Agency & VR Homeowner
Anna is the president of Anneta Realty, a remodel, renovations and short term vacation rental management company. She owns and manages a property in La Quinta with the help of her team, as well as multiple properties in Greater Coachella Valley. Anna has a Bmgt in Business Economics as well as MBA from Queen’s University. Anna has been involved in residential leasing and renovations since 2004 part-time while working for the one of the largest banks full-time holding various positions in finance. Later, she attained her Financial Planning Designation and was managing one of the largest financial portfolios in her region as well as attaining multiple awards for her service. Anna previously served on non-profit board where she assisted with design and content of financial literacy course and was responsible for budget and programs approval. She hopes to bring her knowledge and experience to help VRON-LQ in advocating for responsible renting, collaborating with our City Council and forming a harmonious relationship between neighbors and vacation rental owners. Anna and her company support a number of local charities such as Riverside County Firefighters, Children in Care and WE Teachers Program.
